Vegetable Detox Juice

A mix of high nutrient ingredients are blended together to help support the body’s detoxifying processes.  

The ingredients include leafy greens like spinach or kale, other vegetables like celery and carrot, combined with other healthful ingredients like ginger, lemon or turmeric.

Ingredients

  1. 2 kale leaves (or other leafy green vegetable)
  2. 2 celery stalks
  3. 1/2 cucumber
  4. 1/2 apple
  5. 1/2 lemon
  6. 1/4 ginger stalk

Recipe

01.

  • Wash all vegetables
  • Remove stems from kale leaves and cut them into small pieces. Cut cucumber, celery and apple into small pieces

  • Add cucumber, celery, apple and ginger to a blender
  • Add 1 cup of water
  • Blend until smooth

03.

  • Add kale leaves and lemon juice into the blended mixture in the blender
  • Blend again until smooth

04.

  • Strain over a fine strainer or cloth over a large bowl

  • It may help to use a rubber spatula to press the pulp down and get maximum juice

05.

  • To make the sauce

    1. Add honey to the stove and a tiny bit of soy sauce, white vinegar and salt
    2. Don’t over-cook it like I have!
    3. Mix in the chicken and toss

Drink immediately for maximum results!
