Fried Rice

A delicious Asian staple that will leave you craving more 

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup rice
  2. 1 tbsp ginger
  3. 1 tbsp garlic
  4. 1/4 cup mixed veggies
  5. 1/2 onion
  6. 1 egg
  7. A pinch of chilli

Recipe

01.

  • Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion and garlic and ginger pastes

  • Add vegetables of your choice and cook for 5-10 minutes

  • Whisk egg and add to a separate pan.   Once the bottom starts to cook and gel together, move the egg around to create large chunks of cooked egg (i.e. scramble)

04.

  • Add the egg and boiled rice to the onion and vegetable mixture
  • Add oil and salt and “fry” for around 5 minutes

No need for any sides, this dish deserves centre stage for its amazing taste and nutritional value!
