- 1 tsp garlic paste and 1 tsp ginger paste

- Cook the mung beans in a pressure cooker, or alternatively soak for 2-3 hours in warm water and then boil on stove top
- Then, cook onions on high heat for about 2 minutes – don’t let them get too soft

- Add chilli and corriander – cumin powder to the onion, followed by the cooked mung beans

Serve with white or brown rice or noodles and enjoy!
